Electroluminescent [el] light-up hat Assortment
This was my first project in product development. I wore all hats for this Light-Up Hat Assortment sold into Disney parks and resorts. From conceptualizing the design to vendor management, budget control, testing oversight, final artwork production, and logistics coordination for delivery to Disney Parks and Resorts merchandise distribution centers, I managed the entire project life cycle.
This collection of children's baseball caps elevates the traditional light-up patch concept, like those sold at kiosks and tourist destinations. These hats incorporate additional elements like printing, embroidery, sewn-on embellishments, and a light-up sequence to tell a story. Each hat employs a unique method of turning the patch on and off via a button hidden in the bill of the hat.

PILLER Modular vitamin and supplement dispenser system PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT
This short video demonstrates a late-stage prototype of a modular pill dispenser concept, developed based on user research focusing on medication adherence and ease of use. Each unit holds an average-sized bottle of supplement pills.
The dispenser comprises four main components: Lid, Door, Base, and Body. The modular design allows units to stack securely and connect side-by-side for flexible organization. The door opens downward for easy access, considering users with dexterity challenges.
I concepted, designed, and collaborated with an engineer and factory to develop this project. The design evolved from a larger, bulkier prototype with more parts. This final version utilized lean design principles, minimizing components while considering manufacturing constraints.
While this concept was designed as generic dispensers for users to add their own vitamins and supplements, several years later, in 2023, CVS Pharmacy released a similar concept of connecting dispensers for prepackaged pills, called CVS Health QuickServe Vitamin Dispensing System.
