PROJECT OVERVIEW
managing AND DESIGNING tasty, print-ready PACKAGING illustrationFor several consecutive years, my team and I were contracted by Disney Food and Beverage to create illustrations for Disney Food and Beverage. The illustrations were for use on popcorn buckets, hot/cold mugs, food bags, and popcorn boxes sold in Disney's theme parks, water parks, and resorts.

Imagining how the characters enjoy the World of Color show that is filled with fountains and water projection screens.

Incorporating every Walt Disney World resort on one mug

Telling a dynamic story that shows the frenetic fun

Showing character action personality

Design for child fast food meal bag
storytelling financial results
Through our work and visual storytelling, we helped create illustrated magical souvenirs, and helped pad Disney's bottom line. While I am unable to confirm the positive financial impact the designs had on Disney, I estimate these items produce sales of $100m annually.
Snack-Size Group
This page is a sampling of images I illustrated over that time while managing the entire project, which could include up to 24 different storytelling illustrations for each yearly refresh.

Humor is always a hit. Naturally, Donald is in a pickle.

The characters hanging out on New York Street for the Holiday light presentation. Incorporating memorable touch points, like the cookie is important.

It seems Donald is the only one concerned about the lion lurking in in the background.

Incorporating the Soarin' attraction vehicle allows for a high-flying tour of Disney's California Adventure Park.

How might the characters enjoy a Halloween party? Spooky, but not too spooky. Donald sneaks a peek and the chipmunks, aptly dressed, see an opportunity.
